Sheridan Maine is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established Kent accountancy practice. A Personal Tax Manager is sought to manage a varied portfolio of private clients, delivering high-quality personal tax services and developing client relationships.

The role combines personal tax compliance and advisory work, with opportunities to work closely with Partners on complex matters, review junior staff work, and broaden service offerings to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• ATT or CTA qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation; portfolio management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors and business owners.
• Oversee preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns.
• Provide personal tax planning advice, including capital gains and inheritance tax matters.
