Senior Performance Manager - 18-Month FTC
Location: Hybrid, London-based Sector: Global Professional Services Contract Type: Fixed-Term (18 months)An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading global professional services firm for an experienced Senior Performance Manager to lead the design and implementation of a firmwide performance management strategy. This is a high-impact, visible role supporting a refreshed people agenda within a newly formed HR Business Strategy team.
The Opportunity
This role will play a key part in shaping and embedding a new performance management process across the entire organisation-spanning multiple business lines and jurisdictions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, Centres of Excellence, and the Learning & Development team, you'll be instrumental in creating a culture of feedback, performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of a refreshed performance management framework aligned with business strategy and people priorities.Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to understand performance drivers and embed a high-performance culture.Collaborate with L&D to shape performance enablement tools (e.g., goal setting, feedback frameworks).Contribute to the design and roll-out of Workday-based performance systems, including testing and communications.Build inclusive and consistent feedback processes, incorporating best practice and DEIB principles.Develop engagement and communications collateral to support rollout and adoption.Manage milestones, reporting, and deliverables to ensure effective execution across the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience leading performance strategy and design in a complex, matrixed organisation.Strong business partnering capability and ability to influence at senior levels.Hands-on experience working with Workday performance or learning systems.Collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing engaging toolkits and training materials.Understanding of current performance trends and how to embed DEIB and wellbeing into performance frameworks.
