Job summary

Ips Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Pensions Risk Settlement Consultant to lead and support buy-ins, buy-outs and other settlement solutions for trustees and sponsors. You’ll manage end-to-end transactions with a focus on delivery, feasibility and market readiness.

You’ll build strong relationships with insurers and advisers, contribute to business development, and coach colleagues to develop future leaders in a collaborative, flexible UK environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering pension risk settlement transactions (buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, coach and collaborate within diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or provide senior support on buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps and other settlement solutions.
• Manage transactions from planning to completion, keeping delivery on time and within budget.
• Advise clients on their journey to settlement, including market readiness and feasibility.
• Build strong relationships with trustees, sponsors, insurers and other advisers.
• Support new business, proposition development, marketing and industry events.
• Coach colleagues and help develop future leaders.
