Job description

Senior Manager - Cyber Defense Services to be both business and technical focused. You will have ideas of how to drive the business forward, and be skilled in the commercial aspects of security testing. Above all, you will understand what clients seek when purchasing security testing and how to deliver it.

Management and delivery of penetration testing services to clients, including:

• Scoping
• Financial and risk management
• Delivery of testing and oversight of testers
• Review of deliverables (QA)
• Coaching and developing team members through sharing of experience and knowledge
• Performance management of junior staff
• Continuous development of self and team, including managing client feedback
• Monitoring quality of service and products to clients, with necessary improvements or development
• Identifying and progressing business development opportunities, managing sales activities like proposal writing, client presentations, and debriefs
• Developing constructive client relationships, both internally and externally
• Understanding broader offerings to identify business opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Passion for hacking!
• Understanding of red-teaming/penetration testing, including NCSC and CREST schemes such as xBEST, STAR/STAR-FS, CHECK
• Experience managing and delivering testing engagements on time and within budget
• Experience working within the UK cybersecurity industry
• Understanding and practical application of information security principles
• Strong technical background in computing, networks, and programming
• Experience producing high-quality deliverables independently and in teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams
• Interest in working with large multi-national clients in information security

Advantageous:

• CCT-App or CSTL-App certifications
• Knowledge of NCSC CTAS and CPA Assurance Schemes
• Experience in secure environments (List X facilities) and ISO17025 accredited labs
• Research and Development experience
• CREST CCSAS qualification or working towards it, with plans to sit for the exam soon
