Senior Manager - Cyber Defense Services

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Cyber Defense Services, combining business acumen with technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have innovative ideas to advance our business, possess strong commercial understanding of security testing, and be adept at understanding client needs and service delivery.

This role offers a flexible hybrid working setup, with offices located in London, Leeds, and Manchester.

Responsibilities:

1. Management and delivery of penetration testing services, including:

• Scoping
• Financial and risk management
• Testing delivery and oversight of testers
• Review of deliverables (QA)
• Coaching and team development
• Performance management of junior staff
• Continuous personal and team development, including client feedback management
• Monitoring service quality and implementing improvements
• Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
• Managing sales activities such as proposals and client presentations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Understanding broader service offerings to identify new opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Passion for hacking and security testing
• Strong knowledge of red-teaming/penetration testing, including NCSC and CREST schemes such as xBEST, STAR/STAR-FS, CHECK
• Experience managing and delivering testing projects on time and within budget
• Experience in the UK cybersecurity industry
• Understanding of information security principles
• Technical background in computing, networks, and programming
• Ability to produce high-quality deliverables independently and in teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams
• Interest in working with large multinational clients in cybersecurity
