Job summary

Bradford Council’s Occupational Therapy Service is seeking a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to provide specialist leadership within Children’s Services. The post focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred OT provision across the pathway for children and young people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Occupational Therapy services across children’s services to deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy provision.
• Contribute to oversight, quality assurance and continuous improvement of both in-house and commissioned services, while developing staff and professional practice.
• Lead on or contribute to new projects within the team and across departments/partners and deputise for Team Managers in their absence.
• Mentor to new Occupational Therapy Assessors/Occupational Therapists, including supervision responsibilities and coaching to enhance service offering.
