Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Lead PCS7 Engineer to drive software design and delivery for DCS and PLC/SCADA projects in the energy sector. The role involves leading a team through the full project lifecycle, producing design and test documentation, and performing FAT tests.
You will work in a well-established engineering business with a focus on innovation, supporting and mentoring junior engineers, and travelling as required. Hybrid working is offered with 2 days from home.
Qualifications
- Experience leading software design and delivery for DCS and PLC/SCADA projects.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle and FAT testing.
- Ability to produce design and test documentation and mentor engineers.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Leading software design, development and implementation for DCS and PLC/SCADA systems.
- Managing and supporting a team through the full project lifecycle.
- Producing design and test documentation.
- Carrying out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Reviewing and checking technical work from other engineers.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
