Job summary

AM Global in the United Kingdom seeks an EC&I Engineer to design, develop and maintain Siemens PCS7 and S7 PLC control systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery. Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical/Control Systems engineering.
• Extensive experience with Siemens PCS7 and S7 PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of COMAH safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PCS7/S7 control systems.
• Provide technical support to maintenance technicians and production.
• Lead commissioning, testing and start-up support.
• Develop and implement control strategies for processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including IEC standards.
• Participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies.
• Maintain documentation of control systems and modifications.
• Manage OT cybersecurity per IEC 62443.
• Maintain safety programming per IEC 61511.
• Lead alarm management per IEC 62682.
• Write process control narratives and URS/FDS documents.
