Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance in Eastbourne is seeking a Senior Payroller to manage the full payroll function for a growing client base. You will handle weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with RTI, CIS and auto-enrolment, and respond to payslip queries.

The role involves processing payroll for over 250 clients, coordinating timesheets with clients, handling SSP/SMP/SPP where applicable, and contributing to practice management tasks such as WIP and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payrolls across weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycles.
• Strong knowledge of CIS/RTI and auto-enrolment requirements.
• Experience in high-volume payroll within a practice or similar environment.
• Able to answer payslip and pay query escalations.
• Experience managing client queries and liaison with clients for timesheets.

Responsibilities

• Processing a payroll of over 250 clients and completing necessary statutory tasks.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timesheets are authorised for payment processing.
• Handle SSP, SMP, SPP and other tax benefits as applicable.
• Carry out practice management activities such as WIP control and client billing.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on payroll related matters.

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be assisting a credible Practice based in Eastbourne for a Senior Payroller. They are looking for payrollers' who have gained experience across a range of payrolls from weekly, bi-weekly, monthly payrolls, whilst having sound knowledge around CIS/RTI and auto-enrolment. You will be tasked to manage the full payroll function and to answer all the necessary queries around payslips and pay issues. They are ideally looking for someone who has been exposed to a high volume environment and dealt across a group level.

• Processing a payroll of over 250 clients - completing all the necessary legislation tasks
• Liaise with clients to make sure all the necessary time sheets are authorised so payments can be processed
• Experience around SSP,SMP.SPP and other tax benefits
• Carry out practice management activities e.g. WIP control, client billing etc.
• Provide additional help and guidance to clients as required.
