Job summary

Portfolio Payroll, a well-established accounting firm in Warrington, seeks a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a friendly team on a permanent basis. You will manage weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across a portfolio of clients.

The role requires experience with high-volume payrolls, auto-enrolment, RTI submissions, and year-end processes, with excellent Excel and payroll knowledge. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Bureau experience is preferred.
• Several years of payroll experience required.
• Knowledge of pensions and auto-enrolment is essential.
• Attention to detail and initiative are important.
• Ability to work well in a team but also autonomously.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Exceptional payroll knowledge to answer queries.
• CIS knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll bureau operations for high volume clients.
• Handle multiple payrolls with varying frequencies and deadlines.
• Process RTI submissions and auto-enrolment details.
• Support year-end procedures and statutory payments.
• Respond to client payroll queries and coordinate with clients.
