Job summary

Unify by Bruntwood is seeking an experienced payroll professional to own mid-month payroll for ~630 colleagues and ensure accurate, compliant and timely pay. The role requires end-to-end payroll expertise, strong Excel skills, and the ability to liaise with managers and third‑party providers.

You will drive payroll improvements, stay compliant with NMW, RLW, Holiday Pay and auto‑enrolment, and collaborate with the People team on wider payroll projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll from start to finish.
• Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Ability to work with managers and third parties.
• Strong data handling and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of mid-month payroll for ~630 colleagues to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide expert payroll guidance to managers and staff.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and third‑party providers.
• Drive continuous payroll improvements and controls.
