Portfolio Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to own the end-to-end processing of complex client payrolls. This is an office-based role in a collaborative team focused on delivering excellence within a growing payroll division.

You will manage complex payrolls, input data, handle statutory payments and FPS/EPS submissions, while maintaining confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines. UK payroll expertise and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations, CIPP qualified or qualified by experience.
• 5 years’ service in a bureau environment.
• Strong IT skills and adaptability to new payroll systems including Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately manage the most complex client payrolls.
• Input payroll related data to the system, generate reports and maintain schedules.
• Process statutory pay and deductions (PAYE, NI, Pensions).
• Process SSP and SMP and other company statutory pays.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality throughout payroll cycles.
• Calculate salary adjustments, back-pay and holiday pay.
• Submit FPS and EPS, and manage P11Ds/payrolled benefits as needed.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries and deputise for the Outsourced Payroll Manager.
• Coordinate internal training within the Payroll Admin team.
