Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer for our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust.

For full details of duties, please refer to the Job Description, but key responsibilities include:

• Processing monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and producing period close reports for each entity.
• Deputising for the Finance and Payroll Manager regarding payroll processes and responsibilities in their absence.
• Keeping up to date with payroll legislation to ensure compliance for RMT and its subsidiaries.
• Adhering to HMRC rules and managing submissions to HMRC on a monthly and annual basis.
• Supporting the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent monthly and information is kept current.
• Managing attachment of earnings processes with local councils, ensuring employees are aware of the impact of instructions received.
