Job summary

Loveholidays is expanding its Shopping team to build a scalable Payments platform that serves multiple markets. You will own product strategy and delivery for payments, partnering with engineers, market experts and commercial teams to unlock reliable, secure payment experiences across journeys.

We seek a candidate who can define the vision, collaborate with providers, and use data-driven insights to optimise performance while applying AI responsibly to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Platform product experience: owned a technical, API-led, data-rich or internal platform product used by multiple journeys.
• Systems thinking: understand payment data, provider integrations, journeys and rules to create reusable capabilities.
• Technical fluency: work with APIs, data models, security and migration; can trade-off with engineers.
• Payments and commercial judgement: understanding of payment ecosystem and impact on growth.
• Data-led problem solving: use data to measure and judge changes.
• Customer empathy: recognize high-value holiday payments and provide dependable journeys.
• Strong delivery and communication: lead complex work with stakeholders and stay aligned to a long-term direction.
• AI literacy: use AI tools responsibly to improve payment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set the Payments vision, roadmap and success measures with the lead engineer.
• Translate requirements into reusable platform capabilities across markets.
• Expose reliable payment data and provider insights to help teams improve performance.
• Lead delivery across payment services, provider integrations and fraud controls.
• Collaborate with payment providers and aggregators to evaluate new capabilities.
• Explain trade-offs clearly and build agreement across teams.
