Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa is seeking a Senior Pastry Chef to lead the pastry section in a 3 Rosette kitchen. You will oversee 2 CDPs and 2 Commis Chefs, creating desserts, breads, ice creams, and pastry for restaurants and events.

You will design menus with the Executive Chef, supervise the pastry team, and ensure plated desserts meet Rosette standards. This full-time role demands reliability, creativity, and a passion for outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading pastry sections in 3 Rosette kitchens or higher.
• Ability to design and adapt dessert menus for restaurants and banqueting.
• Proven skill in producing plated desserts to high standards.
• Strong stock control, ordering and cost awareness.
• Passion and drive to contribute to a high-profile kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pastry section with support from 2 CDPs and 2 Commis Chefs in a 3 Rosette kitchen.
• Produce all in-house pastries, cakes, desserts and afternoon tea items from scratch.
• Supervise pastry team to maintain consistent high standards.
• Contribute to menu development for restaurant and banqueting.
