Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Corporation Tax Lead for the SME Outsourcing & Accounting team. You will manage a portfolio of SME clients, act as the conduit between national tax and SME teams, and oversee corporation tax computations and tax accounting.

You will train and upskill the wider team, and proactively discuss tax opportunities with clients, working closely with Partners/Directors to deliver high-quality tax services and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Typically minimum of 5 years' experience delivering corporation tax reporting for a portfolio of clients.
• ATT or equivalent qualification is required.
• Broad and strong technical tax knowledge across corporate tax matters.
• Experience identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporation tax for the department and act as conduit between national and SME teams.
• Review and approve corporation tax computations and tax accounting.
• Provide training and upskilling to the wider team on tax matters.
• Proactively discuss tax opportunities with clients and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Partners/Directors to deliver on tax engagements.
