IDEX Consulting Ltd in Alderley Edge is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner or Associate Financial Planner to take ownership of client relationships within a highly technical financial planning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond a purely technical paraplanning role and play a more active part in client relationships and the delivery of holistic financial planning. Offering a basic salary up to £53,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Paraplanner or Associate Financial Planner with strong technical knowledge across financial planning areas.
• Demonstrates ownership and the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
• Strong financial planning and cashflow modelling experience; Voyant experience would be particularly beneficial.
• Highly organised, analytical and detail-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support to the Financial Planner before, during and after client meetings.
• Manage client relationships between annual planning meetings with excellent service.
• Prepare for client meetings, including researching planning opportunities and agendas.
• Attend client meetings, take notes and provide technical input where required.
• Produce high-quality meeting minutes and manage follow-up actions.
• Prepare clear, compliant Suitability Reports and Investment Progress Reports.
• Maintain accurate client records, financial plans and cashflow information.
• Deal with client queries, liaising with other advisers when appropriate.
• Maintain a holistic understanding of each client's circumstances and evolving needs.
