The role involves preparing suitability reports, detailed technical research, and supporting Financial Planners with complex client cases while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments, excellent attention to detail, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior paraplanning experience in UK financial planning or wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Experience preparing suitability reports for regulated financial advice.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Professional, proactive, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive suitability reports and recommendation documentation.
• Conduct detailed technical research and analysis.
• Support Financial Planners with complex client cases.
• Review client circumstances, objectives and existing arrangements.
• Cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis.
• Research pensions, investments, protection and tax-efficient planning solutions.
• Ensure recommendations and documentation meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Prepare for client review and planning meetings.
• Liaise with advisers, administrators, providers and other parties.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records.
• Support delivery of an excellent client experience throughout the process.
