The role requires a minimum of 2 years in paraplanning, a Level 4 Diploma (or working towards), and strong technical knowledge in pensions, investments, and tax planning. You will work in a professional, detail-focused environment that emphasises compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards) is essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Paraplanning role or similar financial planning support position.
• Strong technical understanding of pensions, investments, tax planning, and the broader advice process.
• Excellent written communication with ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on financial products, providers, funds, and client solutions.
• Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and tax-efficient strategies.
• Support advisers by analysing client information and producing appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date client records, including risk profiles and compliance documents.
• Monitor regulatory changes to ensure advice remains compliant.
• Assist with technical queries related to financial planning and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with advisers, administrators, and clients.
