Job summary

Ellis James Partners Ltd in Wakefield is hiring an experienced Paraplanner to support our adviser team in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions. The role offers a flexible hybrid approach with remote consideration for senior candidates.

Ideal applicants will have strong technical knowledge, a track record in regulated financial planning, and exposure to wealth planning across investments, pensions and protection. St. James’s Place experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as paraplanner in a regulated financial planning environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, protection and wealth planning.
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports for new business and review cases.
• Support advice across investments, pensions, protection and wider wealth planning.
• Carry out technical research and analysis.
• Work closely with advisers throughout the advice process.
• Ensure cases are accurate, compliant and delivered efficiently.
