Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a substantive consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine to join the Leeds General Infirmary team. Must have MRCPCH or equivalent and be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT.

Responsibilities include advanced respiratory care, bronchoscopy, sleep and long‑term ventilation where needed. Based at Leeds Childrens Hospital, with strong regional links and teaching commitments.

Qualifications

• MRCPCH or equivalent
• Be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at interview time
• Established skills in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine including bronchoscopy, sleep and long‑term ventilation desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide expert paediatric respiratory care across CF and PCD
• Deliver high quality teaching and participate in region-wide training
• Support tertiary paediatric services and cross‑specialty links
• Consider part‑time or job‑share arrangements
