Job summary

Community Care Live is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Education and Inclusion Therapy Service. You will deliver specialist assessments and interventions for children in educational settings, collaborating with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to implement child-centred plans.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration with a postgraduate Ayres Sensory Integration qualification.
• Experience delivering OT services to children with complex needs in education, health or social care.
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-agency team.
• Excellent communication and safeguarding knowledge.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children in educational settings and at home.
• Collaborate with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to develop child-centred support plans.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and reporting.
• Provide supervision to OTs and support capacity-building through training.
• Travel across Hampshire to deliver services within your geographical patch.
