Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Community Dysphagia Team (0-5 years). You will perform specialist assessments and interventions for infants and children with eating, drinking and swallowing needs in a community setting, collaborating with MDT colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in dysphagia.
• HCPC registration is required.
• RCSLT registration is required.
• CEN membership is desirable.
• Evidence of specialist short courses up to Master's level is required.
• Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Manage a complex, highly specialist caseload in paediatric dysphagia and communication difficulties.
• Lead and support the team with expert guidance in assessments and interventions.
• Provide supervision to junior colleagues as directed by the Team Leader.
• Offer specialist second opinions, advice and training to other professionals.
• Produce clear reports and notes reflecting clinical reasoning.
• Communicate with parents, carers and clients about findings and plans.
