Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Windsor is seeking an experienced Band 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientist with paediatric expertise to join our Audiology Department.

The role focuses on paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, leading Visual Reinforcement Audiometry for young children, newborn ABR follow-up, and close collaboration with ENT and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality family-centred care.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent with registration eligibility
• Significant post-qualification paediatric diagnostic audiology experience
• Experience with managing complex patients
• Experience in paediatric assessments and rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Lead Visual Reinforcement Audiometry clinics for children under three
• Undertake newborn hearing follow-up assessments using ABR
• Provide paediatric rehabilitation services for children and young people
• Support children, young people and families with hearing healthcare journeys
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve best outcomes
