Job summary

CooperVision is seeking a Senior Packaging Operator to lead the packaging team at Mountpark, ensuring production targets, quality standards and regulatory compliance are met. You will provide guidance, supervise operators, and deputise for the Team Leader when required.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, ability to motivate a team, and experience with SOPs, SAP/Oracle systems, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience with Oracle and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Operate equipment and perform production tasks per SOPs to meet targets and quality requirements.
• Allocate resources and prioritise workloads to achieve shift objectives.
• Analyse data and produce reports to support SOX and financial compliance.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and support audits to ISO/FDA compliance.
