Job summary

CooperVision is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Packaging team at MountPark (Onsite) in Southampton. You will provide a range of engineering support and maintenance services across Packaging and Distribution sites, ensuring equipment is well maintained and breakdowns are repaired efficiently.

• Maintenance and engineering support across Packaging and Distribution sites.
• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs to equipment.
• Coordinate with internal engineers or external contractors for timely resolutions.
• Record repairs and maintenance activities using established procedures.
• Train operators in basic maintenance and line setup.
• Ensure safety and equipment readiness with proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and diagnose issues, prioritising work with operational needs.
• Accurately record repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with internal engineers or external contractors for timely resolution of breakdowns.
• Source and procure non-stock replacement parts, confirming specification and availability.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) via the CVM system.
• Carry out facilities maintenance including fire/sprinkler systems, lighting, heating, and HVAC.
• Train operators in basic maintenance and line setup to promote safe practices.
• Provide specialist engineering support to projects and production teams.
• Identify and elevate equipment-related risks to management.
• Support site-wide maintenance across Packaging and Distribution sites.
