Job summary

CooperVision Limited is seeking a Packaging Operator L3 (Trainer) to join the Packaging Department at MountPark. You will train and operate, supervise processes, and help meet production targets in a high‑volume warehouse environment.

You will work on the Red Shift (19:00–07:00) on a 4 days on/4 days off pattern, with responsibilities including training, pick and pack, and safe operation of machinery. A strong English level and team player attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic computer tasks and SOPs.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and perform manual handling.
• Experience in a packaging environment and working with Trainers.

Responsibilities

• Train and operate packaging processes as a Trainer and Operator.
• Monitor compliance with Training Coordinator and meet production targets.
• Pick, pack and ship contact lenses; operate machinery safely.

Job summary – What to expect:

As the Packaging Operator L3 of our Packaging Department, you will be working as a Trainer and an Operator.

• You will be trained on 2 or more processes and work as designated Trainers for the area
• Monitoring compliance and cooperation with Training Coordinator
• Pick and pack contact lenses
• Meet production performance targets
• Operate machinery safely
• Shipping customer orders
• Training Operators in daily tasks

We are looking for someone who has experience working in the packaging department with a keen interest to move into a Trainer role.

Experience & Education:

Required

• PC literate
• Good understanding of manual handling techniques
• Ability to read, understand and work to SOPs
• Multi-skilled Operator
• Team player
• Punctual
• Good level of spoken English
• Large open plan warehouse
• High level of noise
• PPE is required
• Working at heights is required
• Requirement to lift heavy boxes
• Periods of prolonged standing
