Job summary

Forward Role is seeking an experienced Mid & Senior Designer with a strong background in packaging design to lead the creation of a new in-house design department in Windermere. This role focuses on packaging and broader design, guiding standards and direction across diverse projects.

You will lead two designers, collaborate with marketing and suppliers, and ensure packaging compliance with materials, dimensions and production specs.

Qualifications

• Proven packaging design experience with technical production awareness.
• Leadership experience managing designers in a creative environment.
• Strong portfolio of retail/product packaging work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team and mentor two designers.
• Oversee packaging designs for product launches and ensure production specs.
• Collaborate with buying, marketing and suppliers to meet brand goals.
• Develop packaging brand guidelines and design principles.
• Support broader design needs across marketing assets during peak and quiet periods.
• Serve as design decision-maker with senior stakeholders and board.
