Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Package Manager to join the London Power Tunnels project. You will oversee the delivery team through pre-construction, construction and handover, ensuring staff allocation, leadership, and coordination of labour, plant, subcontractors and materials.

You will ensure all works meet quality, environmental, and H&S requirements, plan safely to programme, and manage risks and costs while reporting to senior management and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in managing a major engineering project.
• Experience managing delivery teams with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of planning and programming processes.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of a delivery team across pre-construction, construction and post-construction phases.
• Allocate staff based on experience and skills; provide leadership to the site team.
• Manage construction resources including labour, plant, subcontractors and materials.
• Ensure works comply with quality, environmental and H&S procedures and legislation.
• Plan, manage and deliver works safely and within programme; monitor and report progress.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations and develop realization plans to maximise opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with client and project stakeholders.
