Job summary

Herts Young Homeless (hyh) seeks a Senior Outreach Worker in Hatfield to establish and develop a new outreach service. You will deliver person-centred support to young people at risk of homelessness and build partnerships to unlock access to essential services.

You will work within the Frontline Services team, shaping a service from the ground up while maintaining high-quality, client-focused support and advocacy for vulnerable young people.

• Experience of supporting young people, vulnerable individuals, or those facing housing-related challenges.
• Ability to build trusting and professional relationships with a wide range of people.
• Confident working independently and managing a varied caseload.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Herts Young Homeless (hyh) is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Outreach Worker to help establish and develop an exciting new outreach service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated by making a real impact and wants to work directly with young people who are at risk of homelessness. As a Senior Outreach Worker, you will play a key role in delivering support, building relationships, and helping young people access the services and opportunities they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Working as part of our Frontline Services team, you will help shape a new service from the ground up while ensuring young people receive high-quality, person-centred support.
