Job summary

Hull Royal Infirmary’s Medical and Chest Outpatients Department is seeking a Senior Outpatient Support Worker to assist Registered Practitioners, maintain a safe, welcoming environment, and support efficient clinic delivery.

You will help with venepuncture, ECGs, vital sign checks, and other outpatient tasks under supervision, with training and competency progression, contributing to patient-centred care and high standards of safety and professionalism.

• Chaperone patients and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment.
• Provide reassurance and information to patients and relatives during outpatient attendance.
• Support multidisciplinary team to ensure clinics run efficiently and patients receive timely care.
• Assist with clinical assessments and investigations within scope of training and competency.
