Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the Stroke Rehabilitation Team in Stourbridge. The role involves supervising junior staff, leading training and contributing to service improvements within a multidisciplinary team.

Clinicians will deliver occupational therapy for a stroke caseload, with assessments, therapy planning, and discharge planning in patient homes or clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with HCPC
• Evidence of relevant post-graduate experience
• Member of RCOT
• Able to travel to meet job needs
• Experience supervising junior staff or students

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to a stroke caseload within the Community Stroke Rehabilitation Pathway.
• Supervise and develop junior staff and students; lead on training and service improvement.
• Plan and implement therapy programmes, conduct assessments and discharge patients as appropriate.
