Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to work within Pulmonary Rehab and Community settings. The role covers hospital and community environments, with weekend rota duties and active participation in CPD.

You will provide leadership, supervise staff and students, and collaborate with MDTs to deliver holistic patient-centred care across a range of settings.

Qualifications

• Senior Occupational Therapist capable of leading in pulmonary rehab and community settings.
• Experience in clinical leadership and working with MDTs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for junior staff and supervise OT students.
• Deliver patient-centred care across diverse settings including home visits, clinics, and ward-based care.
• Participate in CPD and contribute to service development and weekend rota.
• Liaise with health, social services and voluntary agencies to ensure integrated services.
