Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to head the Surgery, Cancer & Renal Therapies team across Churchill and John Radcliffe sites. You will lead a multidisciplinary group of therapists and assistants, shaping clinical governance and service delivery with a focus on evidence-based rehabilitation for cancer, surgical and renal/urology patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and direction to therapists across Churchill and Vascular, Emergency Surgery and Gastro Therapies teams.
• Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of clinical practice.
• Deliver advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in cancer and/or surgical and/or renal/urology rehabilitation.
• Lead the service and staff while upholding professional and organisational standards.
• Be responsible for clinical governance and performance, reporting to the Head of Therapies.
• Be an integral part of the senior leadership within Therapies CSU and contribute to strategic objectives.
