The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Elderly Care team across six inpatient wards, including the Hip Fracture Unit. The role involves providing specialist therapy for older people and contributing to service development.

This fixed-term/secondment post covers maternity leave until December 2027; opportunities for leadership, management responsibilities and autonomous caseload management are available for motivated applicants.

Qualifications

• Registered OT with current professional registration.
• Experience in elderly care preferred.
• Ability to provide specialist therapy for older people.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist occupational therapy to elderly inpatients across six wards.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
• Participate in weekly MDT clinics and lead on designated caseloads.
• Deputise for Band 7 Advanced specialist when required.
