Connect2Surrey seeks two Senior Occupational Therapists to join its Children's OT services in Reigate or Woking. You will manage complex caseloads, provide specialist assessments and interventions for children with disabilities, and work with families and professionals to maximise independence and safety at home.

The role requires HCPC registration and a track record of senior-level OT experience, with a preference for those with children’s social care exposure.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Senior-level experience as an OT.
• Experience with Children with Disabilities or in Children's Social Care is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage a complex caseload and provide specialist assessment and intervention for children to maximise independence, safety and function at home.
• Undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for children and their families.
• Assess and recommend equipment and home adaptations.
• Conduct manual handling assessments and provide appropriate advice and solutions.
• Support safeguarding and balance rights with risk in complex cases.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary professionals and partner organisations.
• Provide guidance to less experienced OTs and OT Assistants; supervise students where required.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records.
