Steeper Group is seeking a Senior Orthotist to join the Harrogate NHS contracts. You will lead clinical assessments and treatment in orthotics, work in MDT settings, and contribute to service development while benefiting from CPD time and training opportunities.
The role is based in Harrogate with strong ties to the local NHS Foundation Trust. You will be supported by an experienced team, with a focus on expanding service capabilities and sharing knowledge across the Steeper network.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Full-Time Senior Orthotist to join our established clinical team working in partnership with the Yorkshire NHS contracts we provide. The Yorkshire role provides an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to further enhance their clinical skills and knowledge in Orthotics by working in and helping develop services, specifically in the Harrogate area. You will join a well-established team of 11 Orthotists where you will provide a senior role, working alongside senior and junior members of the team sharing knowledge across our network. You will be well supported and provided with a range of development opportunities meaning your sole focus will not be limited to clinical activity but also engaging with the wider business. Strong team working, confidence and the enthusiasm to further your clinical career are key attributes for this role. This role involves working predominantly within the Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, working autonomously to clinically assess and treat a variety of different conditions, using the full extent of your clinical knowledge and current evidence-based practices. You will have the opportunity to work in MDT settings where you will develop strong relationships with a wide range of AHP colleagues. Additionally, knowing the importance of self-development, CPD time will be provided, and you will provide a key role in supporting the development of the service, to ensure we maximise clinical and patient outcomes. Steeper will commit to developing your skills further through varied training opportunities both online and in person. We may also ask you to be involved in wider company initiatives such as our Best Practice, Product Evaluation and Innovation Forum Groups, or assisting in new product development, meaning your career with Steeper could be broader and more dynamic than your clinical role alone. Situated in the picturesque town of Harrogate and on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales, this position in Yorkshire is ideal for anyone looking to relocate, plus with good transport links is an easy commute from nearby York or Leeds. If you care passionately about the service you deliver, act with integrity in ethical decision making and care about making a difference to patient’s lives, then Steeper would be a great career opportunity as your next clinical role.
