  • Work collaboratively with Prosthetists, Physiotherapists, medical staff and other health and social care professionals.
  • Provide specialist advice, education and training to colleagues and external professionals where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and work in accordance with HCPC standards and clinical governance requirements.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical audit, outcome measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Support and supervise colleagues and learners, contributing to a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, consent, risk management, confidentiality and patient safety.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Substantial post-registration Occupational Therapy experience.
  • Relevant experience within amputee rehabilitation, limb difference and/or prosthetics.
  • Experience managing a complex clinical caseload and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment-planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively with patients and families.
