Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Orthoptist to provide orthoptic services across King’s Mill Hospital and other sites. You will assess and treat a wide range of orthoptic conditions, manage complex cases, and deliver high-quality patient care.

Occasional travel to Newark Hospital and Ashfield Health Village may be required. Applicants must hold a relevant orthoptics degree or diploma and be HCPC registered.

Qualifications

• BSc/BMedSci in Orthoptics or BOc diploma or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience in all aspects of clinical orthoptics.

Responsabilités

• Provide orthoptic services at King's Mill Hospital.
• Assess and treat a range of orthoptic conditions.
• Manage complex orthoptic cases.
• Deliver a high standard of patient care across departments.
• May travel to Newark Hospital and Ashfield Health Village.
• Cover planned shifts six weeks ahead and short-notice shifts for staff sickness.
