Job Description:

Pulse has recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Orthopaedic Staff Nurse to provide clinical leadership and support for the service. This role is based in Central London, easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Senior Orthopaedic Staff Nurse, you will support clinical and service development to ensure patient care is planned, delivered, and evaluated according to evidence-based practice. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a high-quality service.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs with the multidisciplinary team and patients’ families.
  • Promote continuous improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based practice.
  • Take delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of the Ward Manager, including supervising junior staff.
  • Apply advanced clinical skills to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience at Band 5 or above in a relevant role.
  • Experience supporting junior staff to improve patient care standards.
  • Ability to support less experienced staff in responding to feedback and setting objectives.
  • Active NMC Pin.
