The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Fellow in Orthopaedic Oncology and Joint Reconstruction on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The appointee will have orthopaedic oncology and joint reconstruction commitments principally to allow for consultant level cover to orthopaedic oncology sessions and the responsibility for inpatient care of those orthopaedic oncology and arthroplasty patients.

Formación

• Essential: FRCS (Orthopaedic) or an appropriate higher surgical qualification
• GMC registration with licence to practise
• Experience in orthopaedic oncology and joint replacement
• Competent in managing hip and knee conditions

Responsabilidades

• Provide teaching to medical students during oncology attachment
• Support research and audit commitments with allocated sessions
• Engage in Hospital's clinical audit programme under guidance
• Provide inpatient care for orthopaedic oncology and arthroplasty patients
• Cover orthopaedic oncology sessions at consultant level
