Job Title

Senior Ortho Scrub Nurse

Location

Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Hours

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday shifts. Shifts include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Role Overview

You will support the management and organization of care within the operating department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide efficient, individualized patient care as part of the Theatre Team.
  2. Maintain high standards of communication and customer service.
  3. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Registered with NMC or HCPC.
  2. High clinical competence and sound communication skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  4. Proven computer skills.
  5. Understanding of safeguarding principles.
  6. Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements.
  7. Experience in orthopedics, including hip and knee arthroplasty and ACL reconstruction, is advantageous but not essential.
