Job summary

APEM Ltd is seeking a Senior Ornithology Consultant to join our consultancy team and support projects across terrestrial, intertidal and offshore environments. You will work from proposal through reporting, preparing costed tenders, managing survey delivery and producing high-quality baseline, EIA and HRA reports.

You’ll liaise directly with clients, regulators and stakeholders, providing expert ornithological and planning advice.

Qualifications

• A sound knowledge of ornithology, birding ecology, demography and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects from proposal through to reporting, preparing costed tenders and managing survey delivery.
• Analyse and model bird data and produce baseline, EIA and HRA reports.
• Liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders to provide expert ornithological and planning advice.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain high technical standards.
