Requirement: British Passport holder and willingness to undergo UK Gov Security clearance

Are you a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud DevOps expert?

Do you have expertise in backup, restore, and recovery?

If so, we are looking for you to join our growing Cloud DevOps team.

Automate, troubleshoot, and enhance the Oracle Cloud Service - Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service.

Solve complex infrastructure cloud service problems and develop automation to prevent issues.

Our team manages Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service, providing essential data protection services for our customers.

This new cloud operations team works across various technologies to deliver seamless recovery cloud services.

We aim to automate complex workflows involved in managing the Recovery Service.

This role offers continuous learning and the chance to work on mission-critical services.

Technical expertise with two or more areas:

• Terraform, Infrastructure as Code
• Oracle Database
• RMAN
• Exadata

Additional qualities we seek:

• Experience managing production cloud services (SRE background)
• Experience in releasing and maintaining cloud services
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience managing systems or database environments in production
• Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Perl, Unix Shell, or SQL/PLSQL

This role requires working on an out-of-hours on-call rota; otherwise, it is a Monday-Friday position.
