Job summary

Qualifications

• Functional level of English and Maths required.
• Care Certificate in Acute Care within NHS setting.
• Recognised Level 3 HSC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Medical team in intravitreal injections and eye clinics.
• Supervise and train HCAs; orientate new nursing staff.
• Care for patients pre- and post-eye surgery and assist with basic care.
• Move patients, monitor vitals, and support infection prevention.
• Liaise with Orthoptists and Eye Clinic staff as required.
