Are you an experienced General Manager, or a Senior Operations Manager ready to step up? Join a fast-paced 3PL Logistics business supporting clients in the UK.

Our client is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead operations at their Luton site, driving performance across warehouse and transport functions while building a strong, stable culture within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day site operations, including warehouse, picking & packing, and transport distribution.
  • Manage and develop a team of c.40 staff across a 24/7 operation.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
  • Manage site budgets, costs, and resources effectively to achieve agreed financial targets.
  • Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and cultural stability at the site.
  • Balance hands-on leadership with strategic planning and commercial responsibility.
Requirements
  • Experience in logistics, 3PL, or distribution.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience building and developing teams.
  • Expertise in warehouse and transport operations, with a commercial and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Flexibility to work on-site in Luton.
