Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role pivotal for onboarding portfolio managers (PMs) and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of the trading and hedge fund environment. Broader responsibilities include middle office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts and ensure compliance with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, workflows, and performance setups for new teams.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Develop onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for onboarding queries and provide stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
