Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a new hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will serve as an SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. The role involves oversight of outsourced tasks, analytical responsibilities, external service provider management, and project work focused on infrastructure buildout and support for equities investment professionals. The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for multiple Prime Brokers in the European equities business.

The firm values a strong progression culture. The initial goal is for the hire to develop into an ‘Operations Manager’ role. Opportunities for internal transfer into other areas such as desk assistance, business management, treasury, or change management are possible, along with potential international transfers for top performers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.

The salary range is up to £110k base, with top performers earning significant bonuses.
