Job summary

Cboe Europe seeks an experienced Senior Operational Resilience Engineer to support UK/EU regulatory requirements and embed them across the business. You will drive first-line implementation, automate evidence gathering, and coordinate with technology, risk, legal, and audit teams from London.

You will own BIA, RTO/RPO alignment, and resilience testing, while developing automated BC/DR evidence collection and reporting capabilities for regulatory reviews and audits.

Qualifications

• At least five years in technology risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience.
• Strong ability to learn new business services and systems quickly.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven automation for BC/DR evidence collection and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management across three lines of defence.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, business impact analysis, and planning for new regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II/MiFIR, DORA, EMIR).
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation with Technology, Operations, Legal, and Product.
• Embed control testing and act as the interface to second-line Compliance.
• Prepare regulatory self-assessments and management reports.
• Design and deliver automated resilience testing and evidence collection.
