Job summary

Calisen is seeking an experienced Operational BI Manager to lead the development of our operational BI capability. You’ll turn complex data into actionable insights, partnering with Operations, Commercial and Finance to deliver dashboards, reports and automated processes that improve efficiency and decision making.

You will design scalable analytics, mentor a small BI team and promote data-driven decision making across the business, shaping BI governance and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building BI solutions using Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modelling and dashboard development.
• Experience working with SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Proven ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insight.
• Experience developing and maintaining performance dashboards and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of operational BI solutions using Power BI, SQL and Power Platform.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports and data models for clear insight.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities.
• Drive KPI visibility and performance trends across operations.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish data governance and reporting standards; mentor BI team.
